High Lonesome Ranch Pasture Raised Beef is born and raised on our ranch. We introduce no feed supplements. Therefore, the chances of our cattle contracting disease harmful to humans is remote. (BSE is contracted primarily through the feeding of supplement containing ruminant animal parts).

Because we introduce no antibiotics or growth hormones, our beef is 100% natural and safe.

Our High Lonesome Ranch Pasture Raised Beef is lower in fat (75% less) and calories (267 calories / pound less) than feedlot and grainfed beef.

Our beef is high in Omega-3(2-4 times more than beef fed in a feedyard and purchased in most grocery stores). Omega-3 is linked to lower incidence of heart disease and cancer.

Pature raised beef have 3 to 5 times more CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) than beef fed grain. CLA is proving to be one of the best defense for the prevention of cancer.

Pasture raised beef is four times higher in Vitamin E than grain fed beef.

Pature raised beef is cleaner and safer than conventionally raised beef. BSE is essentially non-existant in pasture raised beef of known origin. E-coli and campylobacter risk is dramatically reduced in pasture raised beef.

All natural means to High Lonesome Ranch Pasture Raised Beef Program that we admister no growth hormones or anti-biotics and we feed no unnatural feed supplemental. We do not feed grain (grain is an unnatural feed for ruminant animals and grain destroys the many health benefits of grass-fed beef).

It means we treat our cattle as close to how they would be in nature as is possible.

Any animal that requires treatment to maintain their health receives that treatment and then is removed from the High Lonesome Ranch Pasture Raised Beef Program.

All natural means we follow the teachings of Temple Grandin and Bud Williams when we work around our cattle. Our goal is to treat our cattle in a manner that results in calm and peaceful cattle.
